The Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains (BABRM) is a professional trade organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the local housing industry and those who work within residential construction.
Collectively, we advocate for favorable regulations and legislation, provide education and services, and offer marketing opportunities for our members. BABRM also provides valuable resources to consumers interested in building or remodeling their homes.

About Us
Our History
After serving the residential building community since 1966, the Asheville Home Builders Association merged with the Henderson Transylvania Home Builders Association in 2021 to form BABRM, which is an affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders and the North Carolina Home Builders Association.
With more than 1,200 members, BABRM is one of the largest home builders associations in North Carolina and the 13th largest in the country.
Our Members
Membership reflects BABRM’s involvement in all aspects of residential construction. Our members are contractors who build and remodel custom and speculative homes and multifamily dwellings. Associate members are involved in all aspects of the construction industry including suppliers, realtors, bankers, subcontractors, insurance agents, and those meeting the office needs of our member businesses.
Our Work
BABRM connects members through monthly networking and educational events, promotes professional development, hosts community outreach events, advocates on behalf of members, and much more. The BABRM produces and manages numerous community resource events throughout the year including the annual Parade of Homes.

As a professional trade organization, the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains promotes excellence within the building industry and provides an educated voice to advocate for members.
Vision
We will be the primary home building industry resource in Western North Carolina for contractors, suppliers, and consumers.
