Our Annual Sporting Clays Tournament this year took place on March 21, 2024, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day at the Biltmore Sporting Clays Club! A big shout out to Builders FirstSource, our Presenting Sponsor, for making the event possible.
As the morning round kicked off, participants checked in and picked up their shooter bags and ammo. Laurel Windows sponsored the shooter bags and went all out providing waist belt pouches for all shooters! The Ammo was sponsored by Griffin Waste, Haywood Appliance, HomeSource Design Center, and Kitchens of the South.
Breakfast and coffee were served, graciously sponsored by 84 Lumber, featuring delectable offerings from Mini Batch and aromatic coffee from Dynamite Roasters. Once the safety briefing was conducted, the shooters were sent on their way to the Vineyard and Woodlawn courses. Shooting stations were sponsored by our Buckshot Sponsors: ActionCOACH, cLearn, Hi-Tech Integrated Systems, Southeastern Tile Connection, Southern Concrete Materials, and WNC FCI. Griffin Waste provided extra bathrooms on the course for everyone’s convenience.
Following this, participants enjoyed a delicious lunch provided by Hi-Tech Integrated Systems (Wally’s Backyard BBQ), a perennial favorite among attendees. While scores were being tallied on scorecards sponsored by MATH Insurance Service, Reverse Raffle prizes were drawn for the morning participants. The morning Individual Morning Winner was announced – Congratulations Tim Wright!
As lunch concluded the afternoon participants checked in, briefed, and then went on their merry way enjoying the perfect weather.
Following the exhilarating competition, participants unwound with refreshing beverages provided by Gennett Lumber Co. We announced the afternoon Individual Winner, Robert Bell as well as our overall Team winner, Wright Family Custom Homes winning in the morning and the afternoon.
Overall, it was a fantastic day of shooting and camaraderie, with thanks to all the sponsors for their support!
