This year’s WNC Parade of Homes is already shaping up to be one to remember. On Tuesday, July 15, members of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains (BABRM) gathered at One World Brewing West in Asheville for the annual Parade of Homes Auction and Raffle.
The event brought together builders, trade partners, and sponsors to raise funds and celebrate the upcoming 2025 WNC Parade of Homes, set for the weekends of October 11-12 and 18-19. This free, self-guided home tour draws thousands of visitors each year—both in person and virtually—eager to explore new builds, renovations, and emerging design trends.
At the heart of the Parade is the Parade of Homes Magazine, a full-color guide that highlights each participating home with custom renderings, builder bios, and project details. Distributed throughout the region and available online, the magazine helps attendees plan their tours and get inspired.
This year’s Front Cover Auction winner was Buchanan Construction: The local builder’s Bear Flower Retreat will be displayed on the cover of the 2025 Parade of Homes Magazine. We’ll be sharing a first glimpse of the cover photo as the October event approaches.
Altamont Construction won the Featured Builder Raffle and will receive a premium spread inside the magazine.

We have readers not only here in Western North Carolina, but also across the U.S.—many of whom are considering building in our region in the future.”
