Close to 300 golfers had a wonderful time at our annual May golf tournament at the Grove Park Inn. This is one of our most well-attended events, giving golfers an opportunity to see old friends, make new work connections, and have a great day on the links.
Prizes
We had giveaways (Apple TV, speakers), gift cards (for a variety of local businesses) and contests that ranged from getting closest to the pin to having the most mulligans.
One of the most interesting setups was by Wally Capps of Hi-Tech Systems, who had a fancy grill display where he cranked out breakfast biscuits and what he calls BBQ sundaes, with a savory mix of pickled beans, barbecue and cole slaw.
The morning winner of the tournament was VB Synthetics, while A&S Home Improvements won the afternoon portion.
