Strings of Hope Benefit Concert Brings Community Together for a Day of Music, Support, and Solidarity
On Saturday, October 26th, Pisgah Brewing Co. transformed into a lively gathering spot for the Strings of Hope concert, a heartfelt benefit organized to support the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The afternoon was filled with music, camaraderie, and community spirit, all to help our members impacted by Hurricane Helene.
The event featured an incredible lineup of local talent, with performances by Cuberow, The Asheville Mountain Boys, Red Clay Revival, and Fireside Collective. Each artist brought their unique sound, creating an unforgettable musical experience that kept everyone dancing and enjoying the day.
Thanks to the generous support of attendees and donations from those afar, we raised around $7,500! These funds will directly assist our members, who have faced significant losses in equipment, materials, and business locations due to the hurricane. Your donations are crucial in helping our community rebuild stronger than ever.
Attendees also enjoyed the delicious food provided by Purple People Feeder and Mountain View BBQ, making the event even more delightful. Families were welcomed with kid-friendly activities, including fairy hair and face painting by A Fairy Tale, ensuring that everyone had a wonderful time.
Local makers like Black Mountain Vintage and Arrows and Olive showcased their crafts, adding a festive shopping experience to the day. The event not only brought together old friends but also fostered new connections within the community, reinforcing the message that we are indeed stronger together.
