Getting Started with Your Award Entry
The WNC STARS Awards recognize the best in Western North Carolina’s homebuilding industry, and entering is easier than ever! Whether you’re a sales professional, designer, builder, or marketer, there’s a category for everyone. Follow the steps below to get started, and click on any category to view more details and start your entry.
1. Become a Member
To be eligible for any award, you must be a member of the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you’re not a member yet, join today.
2. Choose Your Categories

3. Review Judging Criteria
Each category has specific judging criteria, so be sure to review those carefully to ensure your entry meets all requirements.
4. Submit Your Entry
Complete the entry form for each submission and submit it online. Upon submission, you will receive an invoice for $125 per entry. Once payment is made, your entry will be officially submitted.
5. Attend the Gala
All winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Friday, October 18, 2024. This is your chance to celebrate your hard work and network with industry professionals!
6. Statewide Recognition Opportunity
Winning locally comes with an extra bonus—we’ll submit your winning entry to the NCHBA STARS Awards for statewide recognition next year!
