On Monday, July 13, Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains (BABRM) members will gather for the annual Cover Auction & Featured Builder Raffle, an event that kicks off the 2026 WNC Parade of Homes season.
Members will have the opportunity to bid on the front and back covers of the official Parade Magazine and enter the Featured Builder Raffle.
“The Cover Auction is always one of my favorite events of the year because it feels like the official kickoff to Parade season,” says Jessie Edington, events manager for the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains. “It’s a chance for members to reconnect, have a little fun together, and start building excitement for everything that’s ahead.”
Bid Live for the Front Cover
Builders with a Showcase Home in the 2026 WNC Parade of Homes are eligible to bid live for the front cover of the official Parade Magazine, one of the event’s signature marketing opportunities.
The Front Cover Package also includes enhanced Parade marketing, logo placement in the Parade directory, social media recognition, recognition at the Awards Gala, and a reserved table for eight at the Awards Gala.
Bid Live for the Back Cover
Not participating in this year’s Parade? You can still get in on the action.
The Back Cover Live Auction is open to any BABRM member, giving you the opportunity to bid on premium advertising space on the back of the official Parade Magazine.
The package includes a full-page back cover advertisement, complimentary ad design, upgraded directory listing with your logo, digital artwork for future use, and a reserved table for eight at the Awards Gala.
Enter the Featured Builder Raffle
The Featured Builder Raffle gives one lucky builder the opportunity to receive a premium two-page feature near the front of the Parade Magazine.
Unlike the Front Cover Auction, you do not have to be participating in the 2026 Parade to purchase raffle tickets or win. The raffle is open to all BABRM builder members, making it a great opportunity to gain premium exposure whether or not you have a home in this year’s Parade.
Rather than highlighting a single home, the Featured Builder spread puts the spotlight on your company. It shares your story, highlights your expertise, and introduces homeowners to your brand before they begin exploring the Parade.
Raffle tickets are $100 each, and when you purchase five tickets, you’ll receive one additional ticket at no cost, giving you even more chances to win.
We encourage all interested builders to purchase their raffle tickets in advance through the event registration page. You do not have to be present at the event to win.
