We couldn’t have asked for better weather last Thursday for our Annual AHBA Golf Tournament presented by Jennings Builders Supply & Hardware at Black Mountain Golf Club. The original date of the tournament was postponed due to rain and the weather on Thursday proved to be worth the wait. Our sponsors this year included:

With 31 teams and a sponsor on every hole, it was hard not to have a good time. From BBQ sundaes, bratwursts, donuts, fruit kabobs, wings, donuts, pizza and more, if you didn’t win or leave with a prize, then you certainly left with a full belly, sunburn and some good laughs. If you arrived before they sold out, players got to try their hand with a poker run throughout the course. Proceeds went to the Madison County Housing Coalition and we are happy to announce we will be giving $680 to this great cause.
From Mulligan Prize Winners to Closest to the Pin and Longest Drive, there were many opportunities to win! The AHBA gave away some AHBA sport polo shirts, golf balls, and 4 rocker camping chairs. Overhead Door gave a way some awesome easy dry t-shirts and ProSource gave away an InSinkErator, Danze Faucet, garbage disposal and a camping tent.
Each team was flighted by handicap and the winner of each flight won a cash prize of $200. This year’s winners were Adams of Old Castle, Solid Rock Builders and Prime Mortgage Lending.
