Every year, a dedicated volunteer leadership team is nominated to serve as the Board of Directors of the Asheville Home Builders Association.
Per the association bylaws, the Board is comprised of 12-16 members of which at least one half must consist of builder members. Members serve one year terms in their designated roles of which they may serve up to 3 consecutive years in that role before rotating off or getting on the executive ladder.
Board members are the fiduciaries who steer our organization towards a sustainable future by adopting sound governance practices and financial management policies as well as making sure our nonprofit has adequate resources to advance its mission.
