We couldn’t have asked for better weather for our Annual AHBA Golf Tournament presented by Gennett Lumber at Broadmoor Golf Links.
With a change in venue one week before the tournament, we want to give a big shout out to all our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and Broadmoor for their ability to go with the flow. A whole bunch of teams and a sponsor on every hole, it was hard not to have a good time. From BBQ sundaes, bratwursts, hot dogs, sandwiches, and more, if you didn’t win or leave with a prize, then you certainly left with a full belly, sunburn, and some good laughs. Thanks to Jennings for keeping us all hydrated throughout the day!

The Poker Run was won by 4 Jacks and an Ace – pretty hard to beat, congrats to Dana Jones. The proceeds went to Beloved Asheville and their Building Home AVL Project. Thank you to those that participated to raise money for this great organization.
There were tons of winners this year thanks to our Eagle Sponsors giving out some awesome prizes! Adams of Old Castle gave away a yeti cooler, Carolina Closets an awesome gift card for golf, Gennett gave away a free round of golf, Arbor Zen gave out a ton of floor cleaning kits, ProSource gave away a sweet showerhead and so many more prizes!
We also had some sweet giveaways for our BuildPac donations. We gave away 2 amazing Yeti Coolers, a recliner, a golf bag, a golf package, and a $200 golf certificate to Nevada Bob’s Golf.
Each team was broken into 3 flights by their handicaps and the winner of each flight won a cash prize of $200. This year’s winners were 84 Lumber, Dominion Energy, and GBS.
