In its 7th year, the Asheville Home Builders Association’s Local Industry Night is a one-of-a-kind night of collaboration and networking between organizations and professionals that proudly make up our local home building industry and market throughout the Asheville area. The special invitation is open to members of the Asheville Home Builders Association, Asheville Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Green Built Alliance, Land of the Sky Association of Realtors (LOTSAR), American Society of Interior Designers – Carolinas(ASID) and the Mortgage Bankers Association of WNC.
ProSource Supply hosted the event this year and their showroom did not disappoint. Even though the event was delayed by a week due to snow, over 150 attendees came out to explore their fabulous and sleek space with luxury faucets, bath and lighting fixtures, cabinet hardware and accessories as they made new connections. 20 lucky winners left with prizes provided by participating organizations and ProSource Supply including a wide selection of gift cards, light fixtures, showerheads, lamps and much more.
The AHBA’s government affairs committee sold raffle tickets to support Build PAC. NC BuildPac contributions are the key to our being able to promote a pro-housing agenda in the legislature and local governments statewide. Out of all funds contributed by AHBA Members to NC BuildPac, 30% comes back to our local reserve in which we can use that to directly support local candidates running for office in our community! Yesterday’s winner took home a brand new Tundra Yeti cooler.
