It was a beautiful day May 11th at Grove Park Golf Course for our Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains Golf Tournament! This year we had around 45 Teams of 4 on the course for the AM & PM sessions. We’d like to thank Floor Coverings International WNC for being this year’s Presenting Sponsor!

After a quick word from our EO Megan Carroll, and Brad Currin of FCI WNC, the first round of teams were off! Players visited sponsored holes to chat, get beverages & food, and just say hi. The hole #2 even had a Pro on the course to hit for the player, or if they hit better than her, the players got extra raffle tickets. This helped raise money for Education Foundation, and local area scholarships for the trades. Education Foundation was also on hole #11 with their ever popular marshmallow drive to raise even more. Winners could get an Apple TV.
Everyone also got to enjoy the company of the area turkeys that were out in full force. Different holes gave chances for players to win by entering their business cards. For lunch players partook in a variety of food items on the course, including the always popular BBQ Sundaes from Wally! The afternoon round started closer to 2, and players enjoyed a sunny afternoon at the Grove Park.
