We sure hope you didn’t miss AHBA After Hours last Thursday at HomeSource Design Center, but in case you did, we have a short event recap for you. If the delicious Root Down food truck wasn’t enough, or thinking Lynard Skynard was there singing ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ (really it was the great local band, Social Function), then the crowd and energy would have done it for you.
Over 120 people were in attendance including members of Asheville Home Builders Association, the WNC Green Building Council, Land of the Sky Association of Realtors, National Kitchen & Bath Association and more. Attendees experienced HomeSource’s Design Center, met many of their suppliers, and networked with the many other industry professionals who were there. The AHBA cornhole boards were set up and started some friendly competition, as we are gearing up for our Battle of the Builder Cornhole Tournament next month. Overall it was a nice evening with great weather and great people. Congratulations to the door prize winners, who walked away with giftcards from Metro Wines, Taco Temple, GanShan Station and a toolbag provided by HomeSource.
A BIG thanks go to Tim Alexander, Kara Gressler, Katherine Evans and all of the other staff at HomeSource for hosting a memborable After Hous.
