This month we learn about Amanda Crady. In December 2016, Amanda will celebrate her 10th year of working for More Space Place in the role of design and sales. She enjoys working with builders and homeowners to create space saving solutions for their home via custom closet systems, Murphy beds and other built-in units. The challenge of creating a space that will enhance a homeowner’s lifestyle within their budget is rewarding for her. Amanda serves on the Social Committee and More Space Place is a Silver Level Foundation Club Sponsor.
– If you could go to one local restaurant for the next year, what would it be? I would be more likely to take the challenge of going to a different local restaurant in Western North Carolina for a year. I think we have so many great food resources here and I really enjoy the variety.
– Being a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association provides me with… opportunity to establish long term relationships that not only provide business but friendships as well. Over the years I’ve recruited members as I really believe in the power of the organization and doing business with a member.
– You got a day off work unexpectedly, how are you going to spend it? Most likely I would spend it with Zach, my husband. We would either work on our farm on one of the continuous projects we have going on or if I could convince him to take a day off, we’d go downtown to check out restaurants and breweries for the day.
– What is your favorite AHBA Event and why? Battle of the Builders. The last 3 years as being part of the social committee, I’ve had a significant role in setup and execution of the “Corn Hole Tournament”. The events are typically well attended by builders and with a friendly competitive spirit.
– Your favorite shameless snack? Chips – I love the crunch!
