Recently two of the Asheville Home Builders Association’s Members were recognized for their outstanding work in our communities.
In June Sean Sullivan Living Stone Design + Build received the Small Business Leader of the Year Award for businesses of 15 employees or more. This leadership award was given by the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. Sean has been Active in the AHBA for years, even being President in 2008. Sean is also the co-owner of Atelier Maison & Co. with Laura Sullivan of ID.ology Interiors & Design. Living Stone Design + Build has been a leading builder in our area for more than 25 years.

In August GroundBreak Carolinas recognized Sam Young, Owner and President/CEO of Young & McQueen Grading Company, Inc. as a winner of its 2021 GroundBreaker Awards. This an annual awards program that recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond to make a difference for the construction community in the Carolinas. Young & McQueen has been developing challenging terrain while preserving the pristine beauty of the local environment for over 30 years.
