If you didn’t make it to our Annual Battle of the Builders cornhole tournament September 8th, you really missed out! We’d like to thank K-Wall Poured Walls for being our location sponsor again. Their space is wonderful for this event, since we have 32 teams of 4 to accommodate.
Attendees enjoyed Wally’s BBQ sponsored by Hi-Tech Integrated Systems. When the players weren’t throwing the bags, they could throw axes with 84 Lumber sponsoring the ever popular Axeville Mobile axe throwing area. HomeTrust Bank supplied the always popular beverages, while UnionHome Mortgage was the tournament’s snack sponsor.
It was a beautiful day, and quite sunny so we really appreciated Park National Bank for suppling Sunglasses, and AZEK Company for setting up the shade section. The scores were on display thanks to MATH Insurance, and their were other prizes to be won through the ALFIE Loans Reverse Raffle.
We want to say a huge THANK YOU to the volunteers who helped set up and clean up. Also on clean up duty was Valley Waste, Inc. who assisted with recycling and trash bins, while Griffin Waste Services, LLC brought in the restrooms.
Team Buchanan We are the Champions lived up to their namesake winning EVERY game they played in our double elimination tournament. Which means our afternoon wrapped up just a bit quicker than last year. We know everyone had a great time, and the competitions smack talk was fierce.
