Someone has only 1 day in Asheville, what do you recommend seeing, doing and/or going?
I’d recommend the Gray Line Trolley tour of Asheville. It is full of tourists, but it’s a great way to learn about the unique history of Asheville. My wife and I have lived in Asheville for 24 years and when we did it a few years ago, we learned a lot of interesting things about Asheville and the people who helped shape it.

When you get “away”, where is away?
Madison county, Spring Creek area. It’s an hour away, but it feels like a different world in the woods.

What is the single most important thing you do for your health?
Running. The cardio is great and running at Carrier Park is nice and flat, which my knees like.

What are your summer vacation plans?
We vacationed last month in Oregon to visit our oldest son. We stayed in and around the Columbia River Gorge area, which is awesome. My next vacation will probably involve me taking some time off to do some work around the house.

What is your favorite AHBA Event and why?
The recent Clay Shoot Tournament at the Biltmore! It was a great way to get to know better some folks I knew already.
