North Carolina’s premier hard cider tasting event, CiderFest NC is back for its 3rd year featuring fifteen hard cider makers from all over the region, as well as special guests from CA, VT, MI, & OH. This year local Bee & Bramble Fine Meads, Twisted Apple ale from Windy Ridge Farms, & apple wine from Burntshirt Vineyards have been added to the tasting festivities! The festival will be held at the WNC Farmers Market- 570 Brevard Rd, Asheville on Saturday, November 7th, 2015 from 1P.M. – 5 P.M.
CiderFest NC SM was designed to be a fall fundraiser event for the WNC Green Building Council, that celebrate the old Appalachian tradition, of apple harvests, local produce, and the appreciation of craft food and drink, Cider being a perfect example of community sustainability and a great way to celebrate the harvest! CiderFest NC SM will include not only amazing local and out of state hard ciders, wine, mead, and ale, but also local artisanal cheese and breads, food trucks, local arts & crafts, live music, and children’s area!
