If you were unable to attend the AHBA After Hours at Hi-Tech Integrated Systems, Inc. last week, here is a short recap of what you missed!
A BIG Thanks to Wally Capps and all the staff at Hi-Tech for hosting successful and fun event. The September After Hours took place at Hi-Tech’s new location at 20 Fore Road, which will be opening soon. Multiple vendors showcased their latest products in home automation and security systems. With a brand new building and a lot of happy people, Gold Level Foundation Club Sponsor Hi-Tech Integrated Systems, Inc. was a great location for AHBA Members to network and learn about the latest in home automation.
Not only did Wally host the event, but he also provided his delicious Wally’s Backyard BBQ for everyone as well. Attendees indulged in ribs, brisket, collard greens, cheesy grits, green beans and an assortment of beverages. Everyone left the event with happy stomachs and a few lucky attendees left as door prize winners. Daniel Warne won a Sony 4k Blu-ray dvd player provided by Hi-Tech and Jason Weil won an interior security camera with the purchase of a home-security hub.
As a way to recognize members’ recruiting efforts over the last few months, AHBA members who recently recruited new members are put into a drawing for a Starbucks gift card of which Christopher Fox was the lucky recipient. As a reminder, throughout the month of October the AHBA will be featuring a Membership Drive and where every member that recruits a new Builder/Associate member, will receive double Spike credits through NAHB.
