Live Where You Love to Be

Christopher Fox’s approach to his building practice of creating a healthy home differentiates his notable style and technique, producing quality lifelong homes for each client.

With a focus on sustainability and creating a space that becomes one with the environment that surrounds it, Christopher Fox of Christopher Fox Builders makes it a priority to create homes that fit the home owners’ needs while minimizing impact on the land.

“A house is more than just where you live, it is where you create a life and memories. I build each home as though my family will be living there, showing an attention to detail that I would hope to see in any home that I live in.”

From a development-minded family, Christopher worked in carpentry throughout his younger years and learned the ins and outs of creating a home.  Acquiring his General Contractors License and forming Christopher Fox Builders in 2003, was a natural progression with his diverse skills and love for working with his hands.

“Growing up in Savannah Georgia, and later spending time in Pisgah National Forest, I knew that I wanted to put down roots in the Asheville area,” says Fox on how he chose North Carolina. “I have always enjoyed spending time on the river and exploring the woods, and even spent personal time on the property that is now Olivette.”

Christopher quickly learned the depth and value of fostering a highly skilled and dedicated team of experts. This model allows him to effectively and efficiently carry out the design and construction decisions that bring a project to life.

Creating a home that brings the outside in, 16 River Run showcases expansive views of the French Broad River while offering direct access to hiking trails and the many amenities of picturesque Olivette Riverside Community

Located in the Riverside Hamlet phase of Olivette, a 346 acre planned riverside community and historic farm, Sixteen River Run is respectfully designed to capture the long range views of the spectacular French Broad River that is just seconds from the back porch.

With three bedrooms and over 3,000 square feet of living space, the inspiring open concept design carried throughout provides an ideal place to call home all year long whether relaxing or entertaining.

Designed by local Architect, Michael McDonough, this seamless home allows the owner to feel like they are one with nature.  Expansive windows fill the back walls of the home to offer ample natural light and blur the line between inside and out.

Christopher Fox, a two-term President of the AHBA, is a General Contractor with 20 years experience in Western NC.  His approach to building is straightforward:  work closely with clients, clarify and communicate often, and attend to every detail with hands-on supervision.  A Certified Aging-In-Place Builder, Christopher Fox Builders was awarded the “Viewers’ Choice Award” in the 2017 Parade of Homes.
