HURRICANE RESOURCES - HOMEOWNERS and BUILDERS

New Executive Officer – Megan Carroll

The Asheville Home Builders Association (AHBA) is proud to name Megan Carroll as their new Executive Officer. The AHBA serves as a professional resource for the Building Industry throughout Western North Carolina.

Megan comes from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) in Washington, D.C where she worked as a Program Manager in the Sustainability and Green Building Department. She is passionate about advocating for builders and their best interests. Megan is elated for the opportunity to return to North Carolina and be a part of the AHBA team to support local builders. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her time with the NAHB, as well as previous experience with local government and home building.

When asked about her new role Megan said, “I am excited to continue to grow AHBA’s momentum in the community and explore new avenues to offer even more resources to building professionals while raising awareness about the non-profit to the public. Connecting the trades, advancing workforce development groups, and offering education opportunities to our members are a few of the things I am most looking forward to over the next year.”

The Asheville Home Builders Association has been an advocate for the homebuilding industry and a resource for the community since 1966. Our mission continues to be to educate and support our members, contribute to the community, and represent the legislative interests of the local building industry. Affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders and the North Carolina Home Builders Association, the Asheville HBA (www.ashevillehba.com) represents more than 600 companies in the community.
